AMBASSADOR INFORMATION SHEET

After working in the disability sector for over 10 years, and time and time again being asked “how do I met new people”, Disco Dating has been created to provide a safe environment for people of all abilities to meet up face to face thus providing an opportunity to develop new friendships.

We envisage a future where Disco dating is available to anyone who needs a place to meet new people, dance and be themselves without judgement, for joy and improved mental and physical health.

All hosts must have a current NDIS Screen check

Ambassadors are to be currently working in the disability sector or hold a current disability Cert VI.

  • minimum age requirement 18+
  • provides equal access for everyone and this must be reflected in the cost
    (price must be agreed on in writing with DD Head office)
  • clean dry and safe floor surfaces
  • DISCO DATING STAFF TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR CUSTOMERS ACTIONS. SUPPORT STAFF HAVE FULL RESPONSIBILITY AT ALL TIMES.
  • ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION EXCHANGED BETWEEN CUSTOMERS IS AT THE SOLE  DISCRETION OF CUSTOMERS. DISCO DATING TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY OF INFORMATION EXCHANGED BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AT ANY GIVEN TIME.
  • MINIMUM AGE REQUIRMENT 18+

To become an Ambassador for DD you will need to agree to the conditions in the Licence Agreement. The Licence Agreement is there to protect the core values and the integrity of DD. As an Ambassador you will become part of the DD community with your event promoted on our website and social media.

  • Licence to use the DD logo and branding
  • DD conversation idea card 
  • Mate and date cards
  • Promotion of your event via website and social media
  • Ongoing support and advice from head office

START UP FEE: AUD $200+ GST

The start up fee is charged once and covers the administration costs involved with setting you up in the system and helping you start your Disco dating event equipped with plenty of knowledge and confidence which we’ll provide through support and advice.

ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE: AUD $200 + GST

This fee is charged each year. The fee goes toward the ongoing Ambassador support, administration costs and the upkeep of our website.

  • Ambassadors are required to provide a public liability certificate prior to commencement of events. 
  • Ambassadors are required to source music licence (80% community centres Australia wide have this in place already). OneMusic Australia can assist with this licence if necessary. OneMusic 1300 162 162
